This fixture uses Ultra-Violet Technology known as germicidal UV or UVC which is part of the ultraviolet spectrum best known for its ability to inactivate pathogens like viruses and bacteria. It can actually change the DNA and RNA of said pathogens, destroying their ability to reproduce and replicate.
